Albany Infant and Nursery School has a Pupil Admission Number (PAN) of 60 children per year group; this means we can admit children in any year group, until the maximum number of 60 children. Each year group can have up to two classes which consist of up to 30 children. By law, we are unable to accommodate more than 30 children in an infant class.
Children may join one of Reception classes from the September before their 5th birthday. We also welcome children and families who would like to join our school during the academic year where spaces are available.
Admissions for a full time place at the school are governed by the local authority - Nottinghamshire County Council. Parents/Carers need to apply directly to the Council to request a place at the school.
You can do this by visiting Nottinghamshire Schools Admission Hub
Children may join our nursery the term after they turn 3. Most of our children attend our nursery for 15 hours each week although we also offer 30 hours provision for those families who are eligible for this. For those families who are not eligible for free 30 hours, additional sessions can be purchased at a cost of £10 per session. Please contact our friendly school office who will be able to discuss your nursery provision requirements with you.
We look forward to welcoming you and your child into our fantastic school and nursery!
