Albany Infant and Nursery School operates a soft start policy in the morning.  This means that our staff will open our classroom doors at 8:40am and be there to welcome our children into school.  This also means that you have a chance to pass on any messages or ask any questions about the day ahead.   Our school is open from 8.45am until 3.20pm each day. This equates to 32.5 hours each week.  

Our nursery is open from 8.45am until 11.45am for our morning session and from 12.15pm until 3.15pm for our afternoon session. We run a lunch club between the two sessions for children who are with us all day. 

Annually, there are 5 INSET days, where school is closed to children and adults have additional training opportunities.  As much as possible, we work with Albany Junior school to align these training days.  These are sent to you via Class Dojo and are listed below:
