At Albany, we are aware of the importance of the arts in children's lives for building imagination, confidence and creativity.  This is why, in the summer term, the arts is a driving subject for our enquiries.  Children are taught about artists and designers from the classical and contemporary world.  Children are taught about sculpture, painting, textiles and sketching.  They begin to explore the use of a sketchbook for collating their ideas and developing their skills.
