Albany Helping Hands (AHH) is a group of volunteering staff and parents who organise and run fundraising activities to benefit the children in our school.
Last year, the money raised paid for additional learning resources for our nursery and reception children. In addition, we paid for transport costs for the school trips to the theatre.
We always need new members for the group and extra helpers for our events - whether it’s for serving refreshments, helping with games or stalls at discos, or organising events. Please let us know if you are able to help out.
If you are unable to help at our events, there are other ways that you can support us. You could donate any unwanted presents that are suitable as prizes for raffles, tombolas or games. Children love winning cuddly toys, games, toys and sweets. Maybe you love baking - if so, you could bake us some cakes or biscuits to sell at one of our cake sales or coffee mornings. Alternatively, if you work for a company that can make a donation to the school, or runs schemes to help schools, please let us know.
AHH, are grateful for all the donations and all the money raised goes towards buying equipment and funding activities to enhance the life experiences of the children in our school.
Please get in touch with the school office if you would be interested in helping out with the work of the AHH. Thank you.
